Mustela Very High Protection Sun Lotion SPF50+ is a dermatologically tested sun lotion specifically designed for the delicate and sensitive skin of the whole family, from birth onwards. It provides very high, broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays, a crucial shield against sun damage and sunburn. The lotion's formula is gentle, non-irritating, and suitable for all skin types, including sun-intolerant and atopy-prone (eczema-prone) skin. It is known for its light texture that is easy to apply and doesn't leave a greasy or sticky white film on the skin.

Ingredients

The formula is a blend of advanced sun filters and a key natural ingredient:

• Organic UV Filters: The lotion uses a system of organic (chemical) sun filters that provide very high SPF50+ protection. These include Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, and Ethylhexyl Triazone. These filters are photostable and selected for their high tolerance and ability to protect from a broad range of UV radiation. The formula is also designed to be "reef-friendly," with UV filters that comply with coral conservation bills.

• Avocado Perseose: This is a key patented, natural active ingredient derived from sustainably sourced avocado. It plays a dual role: it helps to reinforce the skin's natural barrier and preserves the cellular richness of the skin from the damaging effects of UV rays.

• Glycerin: A humectant that provides hydration and helps to keep the skin moisturized.

The lotion is formulated without fragrances, alcohol, parabens, phthalates, or phenoxyethanol, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions.
